8th Annual TRACS Summit

The Texas Regional Alliance for Campus Sustainability (TRACS) is a network of faculty members, students and sustainability professionals supporting higher education in Texas by implementing climate change and sustainability solutions across campus operations, academic curriculum and off-campus fields of influence. TRACS facilitates collaboration between higher education institutions through a variety of means including the Annual TRACS Summit. TRACS is supported by volunteer members representing Texas colleges and universities.

Building Green Justice Forum: “Potential through Place”
Huston-Tillotson University will host the 6th annual Building Green Justice Forum, this year focusing on “Potential through Place.” Registration and coffee begin at 8 am, with speakers, panels, and workshops throughout the day. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. The forum is free but please register online. AASHE Conference Texas Regional Alliance for Campus Sustainability (TRACS) Networking Session
This is a networking meeting for Texans and other parties interested in the Texas Regional Alliance for Campus Sustainability (TRACS) to connect and discuss campus sustainability topics unique to the Lone Star State. We will also cover how attendees and their institutions can participate in the TRACS organization, and we will discuss our upcoming TRACS Summit hosted by UT- Rio Grande Valley in early 2020. Location: Spokane Convention Center, 205 – Energy

Sustainability as a Social Justice Practice: Developing Resilient Strategies
Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) will host the 9th annual Sustainability Summit, this year focusing on “Sustainability as a Social Justice Practice.” Welcome begins at 8:30 am, with speakers and breakout workshops throughout the day.
